10-Day Beyond the Reset
Welcome to Day 4!
Below, you will find today’s yoga practice video & writing prompt.
How to Hold This Space: A Guide for The Mat & The Page
Before you dive into today’s practice, let go of any expectation of performance. You are not trying to execute a perfect pose or write a polished essay. You are here to witness your own nervous system. Use these three gentle guideposts as you move through today’s container:
-
For the 20 minutes of your yoga practice, your sole job is to inhabit your physical body. When your logical mind tries to drift back to your corporate to-do list or daily logistics, gently wave it away. Treat each shape on the mat as a physical conversation with your nervous system, signaling to your body that it is safe to unwind.
-
Immediately following your final resting shape, while you are still warm and regulated from your time on the mat, pick up your pen. Try to keep your hand moving for the full 10 minutes without editing, crossing out words, or judging your thoughts. Let it be a raw, unfiltered stream of consciousness.
-
While the structured writing container is just 10 minutes, you do not have to stop when the timer ends. If the ink is flowing and you feel a wave of inspiration, allow yourself to stay on the mat and continue journaling for as long as your spirit requires.
-
Your practice doesn't end today. Carry your bonus Somatic Chakra Writing Prompts into your workday, and feel free to revisit your entry later tonight or later this week. When we look back and read our own raw text with fresh eyes, we are often profoundly surprised by what our subconscious chose to reveal to us. Let what you wrote today be the seed for what you explore next.
Below the writing prompt, you’ll notice there is a 10 minute timer, if you’d like to write in silence. I’ve also included a 10 minute video that includes just soft, relaxing music, if you want to write while continuing to breathe and open…

✺
If your daily energy and attention were a physical house, which room are you over-furnishing, and which room has been completely left in the dark? How does that reflect the de-prioritization of your deepest self?
Expansion Cues:
Walk through the layout. The 'Office' might have luxury furniture and high energy, while the 'Creativity Studio,' the 'Rest Sub-basement,' the ‘Gym,’ or the 'Playroom' is covered in dust. Describe what those neglected rooms look like right now.
The shift: What is one small, ordinary piece of "furniture" (a boundary, a 10-minute ritual) you can place in that dark room today? How will you wake up your truest priorities?

Timers
Ambient music…
Bonus!
1) Somatic Chakra Writing Prompts
2) Printable S.E.E.D.S. Journal
To print the SEEDS Journal, you can print as is: one page per sheet, or select 2 pages per sheet in the Layout section of your print options (recommended).
That’s a wrap. Thank you for joining me, I’ll see you tomorrow!
